I used a small 110 film camera when i was younger. In High School I learned how to appreciate art and how lighting and composition to affect people. I gained an artists eye and could see things from a different perspective.
When I graduated I was given my first serious camera, a high zoom Kodak P&S. With this I was able to finally achieve the results I wanted from a camera. After wearing that camera out I stepped up to a Nikon D50, which I used to make these photos.
I enjoy medium format film photography more so than digital because it causes more interaction with the camera and subject. But most of my work is done digitally. I use post-processing to show the viewer what I felt while taking the photo.
My photoblog (www.kmuncie.com/blog) was born to showcase my more artistic photos in a high quality setting. I love browsing other photoblogs to see how others interpret their surroundings.
