Jens Hoffmann - 4 April 2007

Jens Hoffmann is a 41 year old scientist from Bonn which is the former capital of Germany. He is leading the R & D department of a biotech company which is specialized in developing and producing complex cellsystems which can be used instead of animals for hazard identification testing.

Jens´photoblog www.look-s.de started in the middle of 2005 and is an exclusive collection of black & white pictures. After some unsatisfactory attempts with different digital cameras, he switched back completely to film and different anlogue camera systems. Furthermore, he processes all material by himself in the darkroom and finally scans the prints for the internet.

His motives are not predefined. He is attracted by all things which he recognizes as a possible photograph. This includes people as well as architecture or landscapes. Streetphotography is a main focus in his mind and one major aim for the future.
