My friend Greg Lawler (author of the excellent Zinkwazi photoblog) on the bluffs near Devereaux Point in Goleta, California. Greg and I decided to go out here to shoot this morning. Unfortunately, at least in my case, there wasn't really anything interesting to shoot. I tried a few long exposure shots of waves, rocks, etc. using Greg's 10-stop neutral density filter, but they were just like every other long exposure beach shot I have ever seen. Nothing really interesting. In any case, it was good to see Greg.

Behind Greg, you can see the fog. We have fog here in Santa Barbara pretty much every morning from early May through the end of July. Frequently, it does not burn off until 4:00 PM. We call it the "June Gloom".
