My soap dish and wedding band. I always take my wedding band off when I go in the shower. It looks like it could fit through the slots in the metal grate that covers the drain. I don't think it is likely to fall off my finger in the shower and then slip down the drain, but in any case, that is the reason why I take it off and leave it by the sink.

I actually like this image as a stand-alone shot, and might even post it on my photoblog at some point. People that are familiar with my photography know that I like to photograph ordinary things in interesting ways, and this is an example of that. I never paid attention to this subject (which I see nearly every day) before, but I did today as a result of participating in the My Day In Photos project.
